Mybluecoat goes live

We're pleased to announce that the website has now gone live.

We are keen to open up as much of the archive as possible, making it accessible on line to you. We have scanned documents and images from three collections, as well as at the Lancashire Record Office in Preston, and have ordered this material into several collections. You can explore these collections, which are arranged around themes, such as the school, our performance and exhibition histories, and participation. All of our programme brochures since the early 1980s are available in a collection, as are 200 posters from exhibitions and performances.

In addition to the items in the collections, there are many more that can be searched for in the archive

My Bluecoat Stories

We've produced a selection of anecdotes and short videos aims to capture the experiences of tenants, visitors and artists that have used the Bluecoat over the years. If you have a story then we would like to hear from you for this section of the website. You can submit a story through our submission form on the Submit a Story page here

We haven't finished yet

We're launching the site with a selection of collections and some archive content, however there are many more files waiting to be uploaded to the archive. So if you are looking for something and don't see it then revisit in a couple of weeks to see if it has been uploaded. Alternatively you could Contact Us to let us know.
