The North Prospect of the Charity Schoole at Leverpoole
Hulsbergh (died 1729) was a Dutch artist living in London who was mainly employed on engraving large architectural compositions, including Wren’s designs for St. Paul’s Cathedral. This print is after a painting by Joshua Mollineux, and the edition sold to raise funds for the school. This print was lent for Bluecoat's 2017 exhibition, In the Peaceful Dome, and is reproduced with kind permission of The Rt Hon. The Earl of Derby.
