alternative music - finds all items containing one or both of the words 'alternative' and 'music'

"alternative music" - finds an exact match for the phrase in quotes

+alternative +music - finds only items which have both of the words

+alternative -music - finds only items which have 'alternative' but do not have 'music'

You may search against specific fields in the data. These are:
pageHeading pageSummary, bodyText, searchYear, itemTags, subject

e.g.:

+pageHeading:liverpool  +year:1966 - only items with Liverpool in the page heading and with the year 1996
